While working on my next album I was spending time working with motorik drum beats and sequenced synthesizers and had created some tracks that weren’t really fitting with the rest of the album. These songs tended to be a little bit more experimental, repetitive, and darker. I was enjoying the direction of these new pieces and decided to focus on making something cohesive with them. Inspired by early electronic music and Krautrock I went in a more experimental approach with these. After some time I was left with these 5 tracks that I felt worked really well together and the Repetition EP was born. It was all self recorded and produced here in my spare bedroom in downtown Edmonton.

The songs heavily feature repeating bass lines, steady motorik drums, sequenced synths, and fuzzed out guitars creating a hypnotic journey that will take your mind elsewhere. I chose the release date 02-22-22 to reflect the repetitive nature of these tracks, which also inspired the title.
